Connecting Faith-Based and Health & Human Services

 

As resources and funding become more limited, improved collaboration to better connect efforts between the faith community and social services has been explored through committees coordinated and facilitated by One Voice for Volusia staff. In 2008, One Voice for Volusia initiated steps to enhance communication between these two sectors in order to ultimately serve those in need better. Now in 2010, efforts remain underway to better connect these two sectors.
